An example of why I hate government as a general rule of thumb

Registry officials freely admit that their system is highly automated. If it finds enough similarities between an applicant and an existing dirtbag who isn’t entitled to have a license, it presumes they’re one and the same and sends out the rejection/suspension letter. It’s then up to the person to prove their innocence.

The State of Massachusetts, also known as Taxachusetts, is a shining beacon for socialists, underachievers and people with various dependencies who do not wish to do for themselves.

This fine blog article from Wizbang chronicles the saga of one David E. Greene, who has repeatedly been denied his driver’s license by the fine automated system employed by the great state of Massachusetts. The reason – David E. Green, productive citizen of Massachusetts, shares his name with David E. Greene, shitbird child molester of Florida.

There goes the presumption that in America, you are innocent until proven guilty. In Massachusetts, at least, you do not enjoy this sacrosanct presumption – your driving privileges are decided by the Machine God. The Machine God is served by witless bureaucratic lackeys who are untouchable and therefore uninterested in fixing the problems of David E. Greene.

Ah, the bliss of modern life. . .
