Richard Miller, of Talk Radio News, interviewed me yesterday about this blog and my thoughts on war, etc.
You can hear the three part interview for yourself if you’re interested. I’m never comfortable with my answers after such an interview, but I am always forced into a dose of healthy introspection when I listen to my own viewpoint from outside myself. Doing so is often cathartic, and I sometimes revise my own opinions as a result.
Mr. Miller, it was a pleasure chatting with you on and off microphone.
A thoughtful man with a new take on war, serving in Iraq, and life generally. Stationed in the belly of the beast in Baghdad, he may know too much for his own good, but it’s for our good that we should listen

Talk News Radio Interview Part 3
If I could time travel, I’d add a few comments about the role of Syria and Iran in the pockets of chaos being created daily in Baghdad and other cities with strong anti-government Islamist insurgent presences. There is no nationwide conflagration. There is no wanton, rampaging army looting, raping and pillaging. But there are certainly packs of evil men roaming the land looking for prey, spreading their mental disease and trying to bring nightfall during what should be sunrise. Blotting out the sun isn’t within the realm of what these men can achieve though. They will flare out and fade away. Sadly they’ll take others with them.
